    Total distance covered by the ball = $$32+2(dfrac{32}{2}+dfrac{32}{2^2}+dfrac{32}{2^3}+...)$$ $$Rightarrow$$ $$32 + 64(dfrac{1/2}{1-1/2}$$) = 96 m.
