In 32 litres of solution, quantity of alcohol = $$frac{20}{100} imes32=6.4$$ litres => Quantity of water = $$32-6.4=25.6$$ litres On adding 8 litres of water, total solution = $$32+8=40$$ litres => Required % = $$frac{(6.4)}{40} imes100=16\%$$ => Ans - (B)
