Let capacity of each vessel = L.C.M. (6,12) = 12 units Quantity of juice in first vessel = $$frac{5}{(5+1)} imes12=10$$ units => Quantity of water in first vessel = $$12-10=2$$ units Similarly, juice in second vessel = $$5$$ units and water = $$7$$ units Now, ratio of juice and water in the new mixture = $$frac{(10+5)}{(2+7)}$$ = $$frac{15}{9}=frac{5}{3}$$ => Ans - (B)
