Let initial quantity of alcohol and water in the mixture be $$7x$$ and $$8x$$ litres respectively. According to ques, => $$frac{7x}{8x+11}=frac{3}{5}$$ => $$35x=24x+33$$ => $$35x-24x=33$$ => $$x=frac{33}{11}=3$$ $$ herefore$$ Quantity of alcohol in final mixture = Quantity of alcohol in initial mixture = $$7 imes3=21$$ litres => Ans - (A)
