S.P. = 1800 Profit = 200 => C.P. = 1800-200 = 1600 Discount % = 10% Let M.P. = $$100x$$ => Discounted amount = $$frac{10}{100} * 100x = 10x$$ => S.P. = $$100x - 10x = 90x = 1800$$ => $$x = 20$$ Now. M.P. = 20*100 = 2000 If, he sold the item without giving any discount, in that case S.P. = M.P. => Profit % = $$frac{2000-1600}{1600}$$ * 100 = 25%
