1. What will be the effect on the area of an isosceles triangle if all the sides are doubled in length ?

If the sides are all doubled, the semi preimeter gets doubled. Area = $$ sqrt {s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}$$ New area = $$ sqrt {2s(2s-2a)(2s-2b)(2s-2c)}$$ 4 times the original area.
