    Length of the train = 280m Length of the platform = (280*3)m  Since the train passes the platform completely Total disttance travelled by train = 280+(3*280) = 4*280 Time take = 6min 40s = 360+40 = 400s Speed = 4*280/400 = 2.8 m/s
