Let Marked price = Rs. $$100$$ After 1st discount of 30%, price = $$100-(frac{30}{100} imes100)$$ = $$100-30=70$$ After 2nd discount of 70% (on changed price), selling price = $$70-(frac{70}{100} imes70)$$ = $$70-49=21$$ $$ herefore$$ Net discount % = $$frac{(100-21)}{100} imes100=79\%$$ => Ans - (B)
