Distance between parallel sides = height of trapezium = $$6$$ cm => Sum of lengths of parallel sides = $$8+10=18$$ cm => Area of trapezium = $$frac{1}{2} imes$$ (sum of parallel sides) $$ imes$$ height = $$frac{1}{2} imes18 imes 6$$ = $$frac{108}{2}=54$$ $$cm^2$$ => Ans - (C)
