Let the total votes polled in the election = $$100x$$ Votes polled for winning candidate = $$frac{70}{100} imes100x=70x$$ => Votes polled for losing candidate = $$100x-70x=30x$$ According to ques, => $$70x-30x=15400$$ => $$x=frac{15400}{40}=385$$ $$ herefore$$ Number of votes polled for loosing candidate = $$30 imes385=11550$$ => Ans - (B)
