Let the max marks in the exam = $$100x$$ Passing marks = 310 Now, acc to ques, => $$(frac{28}{100} * 100x) + 93 = 310$$ => $$28x = 310 - 93$$ => $$x = frac{217}{28} = 7.75$$ $$ herefore$$ Max marks = 100 * 7.75 = 775
