Ratio of square of diagonal to area of square = $$2:1$$ Let diagonal of first square = $$d_1=3$$ cm and $$d_2=7$$ cm Thus, ratio of areas = $$frac{A_1}{A_2}=(frac{d_1}{d_2})^2$$ = $$frac{3^2}{7^2}=frac{9}{49}$$ => Ans - (B)
