Let amount of the bill = Rs. $$100x$$ I : Amount after discount of 35% = $$100x-(frac{35}{100} imes100x)$$ = $$100x-35x=65x$$ II : Amount after first discount of 20% = $$100x-(frac{20}{100} imes100x)$$ = $$100x-20x=80x$$ Amount after second discount of 20% = $$80x-(frac{20}{100} imes80x)$$ = $$80x-16x=64x$$ According to ques, => $$65x-64x=22$$ => $$x=22$$ $$ herefore$$ Amount of the bill = $$100 imes22=Rs.$$ $$2200$$ => Ans - (B)
