Let cost price = Re. 1/gm = Rs. 1000/kg Weight used by the seller = $$1000-(frac{20}{100} imes1000)=800$$ gm Selling price = $$1000+(frac{10}{100} imes1000)=Rs.$$ $$1100$$ => Selling price per gm = $$frac{1100}{800}=Rs.$$ $$1.375$$ /gm $$ herefore$$ Profit % = $$frac{(1.375-1)}{1} imes100=37.5\%$$ => Ans - (B)
