Relative speed = (120 + 80) kmph (or) 200 kmph, Relative time = 9 seconds, Relative distance = (270 + x) meters Let x be the length of other train. We know that, Distance = speed x time 270 + x = 200 x $$frac{5}{18}$$ x 9 270 + x = 100 x 5 x = 500 - 270 (or) 230 meters. Hence, option D is the correct answer.
