Let initial volume of water = $$10$$ $$cm^3$$ Increase in volume = 10% => Volume of ice = $$10 imesfrac{(110)}{100}=11$$ $$cm^3$$ If the ice is melted to water again, its volume will be decreased by = $$frac{(11-10)}{11} imes100$$ = $$frac{100}{11}=9frac{1}{11}\%$$ => Ans - (D)
