    Let the number be $$x$$ According to ques, => $$frac{4}{5} imes frac{6}{7} imes x = 216$$ => $$x = 216 imes frac{35}{24} = 9 imes 35$$ $$ herefore$$ 8/9th of the number = $$frac{8}{9} imes (35 imes 9)$$ = $$8 imes 35 = 280$$ => Ans - (B)
