For the wholesaler, Let the cost price = Rs. $$100x$$ With profit of 25%, Selling price = $$frac{125}{100} imes 100x = Rs. 125x$$ For the retailer, Cost price = Rs. $$125x$$ With a loss of 12%, Selling price = $$frac{88}{100} imes 125x = Rs. 110x$$ For the customer, Cost price = $$110x = 1045$$ => $$x = frac{1045}{110} = frac{95}{10} = 9.5$$ $$ herefore$$ Cost price for retailer = $$100 imes 9.5 = Rs. 950$$ => Ans - (A)
