Total marks scored by the student = 30 + 50 + 30 + 35 + 30 = 175 => Average marks = $$frac{175}{5} = 35$$ But due to poor attendance, 5 marks are deducted $$ herefore$$ Net average = 35 - 5 = 30 => Ans - (C)
