    Let original fare = Rs. $$25x$$ => New fare = Rs. $$29x$$ Also, original fare = $$625 = 25x$$ => $$x = frac{625}{25} = 25$$ $$ herefore$$ Increase in fare = $$29x - 25x = 4x $$ = $$4 imes 25 = Rs. 100$$
