1. Volume of a cylinder is 2310 cubic cm. If circumference of its base is 44 cm, find the curved surface area of the cylinder?

Let radius of base of cylinder = $$r$$ cm and height = $$h$$ cm Circumference of base = $$2 pi r = 44$$ => $$2 imes frac{22}{7} imes r = 44$$ => $$r = 44 imes frac{7}{44} = 7$$ cm Now, volume of cylinder = $$pi r^2 h = 2310$$ => $$frac{22}{7} imes (7)^2 imes h = 2310$$ => $$22 imes 7 imes h = 2310$$ => $$h = frac{2310}{154} = 15$$ cm $$ herefore$$ Curved Surface area of cylinder = $$2 pi r h$$ = $$44 imes 15 = 660 cm^2$$
