    Let present age of R = $$9x$$ years and of P = $$11x$$ years According to ques, => $$frac{9x+7}{11x+7}=frac{26}{31}$$ => $$279x+217=286x+182$$ => $$286x-279x=217-182$$ => $$7x=35$$ => $$x=frac{35}{7}=5$$ $$ herefore$$ Present age of P = $$11 imes5=55$$ years => Ans - (C)
