The hexagon is composed of 6 equilateral triangles, each with a side of 2. Area of an equilateral triangle = $$frac{sqrt3}{4}s^2$$ => Area of regular hexagon = 6 $$ imes$$ area of small equilateral triangles = $$6 imesfrac{sqrt3}{4} imes(2)^2$$ = $$6sqrt3$$ $$cm^2$$ => Ans - (C)
