    let the number of correct questions be y and hence incorrect will be 75-y as total questions are 75 it is given that a student scores 4 marks for every correct answer and loses 1 mark for every wrong answer hence 4y - 1(75-y) = 125 5y - 75 = 125 5y = 200 y = 40
