Since, the sphere is completely submerged, then volume of both will be equal and rise of water level is equal to the height of cylinder. => $$frac{4}{3} pi R^3 = pi r^2 h$$ => $$frac{4}{3} * 3^3 = 6^2 h$$ => $$h = frac{9 * 4}{36} = 1 cm$$
