Speed of train = 84 km/hr = 84 x $$frac{5}{18}$$ = $$frac{70}{3}$$ m/sec speed of man = 6 km/hr = 6 x $$frac{5}{18}$$ = $$frac{5}{3}$$ m/sec As both are moving in opposite direction , relative speed = $$frac{5}{3}$$ + $$frac{70}{3}$$ = 25 m/sec Time to cross the man = 4 sec Let the length of train be L m ,then Using, Distance = Speed x Time L = 25 x 4 = 100 m
