    Let BC = x and AC = y $$ herefore sin 30 = frac{BC}{AC}$$ => $$frac{1}{2} = frac{x}{y}$$ => $$y = 2x$$ After 1 second, required speed, $$x = frac{y}{2}$$ = $$frac{2}{2} = 1$$ m/s
