Let the angles of the triangle be $$2x,3x$$ and $$4x$$ => Sum of angles = $$2x+3x+4x=180^circ$$ => $$9x=180^circ$$ => $$x=frac{180}{9}=20^circ$$ $$ herefore$$ Difference between greatest and smallest angle = $$4x-2x=2x$$ = $$2 imes 20=40^circ$$ => Ans - (C)
