Let speed of car = $$x$$ kmph speed of train = $$1.4 imes x$$ kmph distsance = 140 $$T_{car}-T_{train}=frac{25}{60}hrs$$ $$frac{140}{x}-frac{140}{1.4x}=frac{5}{12}$$ $$frac{0.4}{1.4x}=frac{5}{12 imes 140}$$ $$Rightarrow 1.4x = 134.4kmph.$$ so the answer is option B.
