    Let the original fraction = $$frac{x}{y}$$ $$ herefore frac{x imes 225}{y imes 220} = frac{9}{11}$$ => $$frac{x imes 45}{y imes 44} = frac{9}{11}$$ => $$frac{x}{y} = frac{9}{11} imes frac{44}{45}$$ => $$frac{x}{y} = frac{4}{5}$$
