Total oil produced in the year 1996 = 10+700+1794+104+650 = 3258. Therefore, oil production loss as a percentage of total oil produced in the year = $$dfrac{650}{3258} imes 100$$ = 19.95%. Similarly, we can calculate for the remaining year. Tabulating the same data, From the table, we can see that the oil production loss as a percentage of total oil produced is the lowest for the year 2002. Hence, option A is the correct answer.
