    Let side of square = $$s$$ units and diagonal = $$d$$ units => Area = $$s^2=48$$ Also, $$d=sqrt{s^2+s^2}=sqrt{2s^2}$$ => $$d=sqrt{2 imes48}=sqrt{96}$$ => $$d=4sqrt{6}$$ => Ans - (A)
