Let larger diagonal of the rhombus = side of square = $$10x$$ => Smaller diagonal = $$frac{70}{100} imes10x=7x$$ => Ratio of area of rhombus to area of square = $$frac{frac{1}{2}d_1d_2}{a^2}$$ = $$frac{1}{2} imes(frac{10x imes7x}{10x imes10x})$$ = $$frac{1}{2} imesfrac{7}{10}=frac{7}{20}$$ => Ans - (C)
