    Let capacity of tank = $$x$$ litres According to ques, => $$frac{4x}{5}-42=frac{3x}{4}$$ => $$frac{4x}{5}-frac{3x}{4}=42$$ => $$frac{16x-15x}{20}=42$$ => $$x=42 imes20=840$$ $$ herefore$$ Capacity (in litres) of the tank = 840 litres => Ans - (C)
