Let the length of other parallel side = $$x$$ cm Height of the trapezium, $$h = 3$$ cm Area of trapezium = $$frac{1}{2} imes$$ (sum of parallel sides) $$ imes$$ height => $$frac{1}{2} imes (8.3+x) imes 3 = 21$$ => $$8.3+x = frac{21 imes 2}{3}$$ => $$8.3+x = 14$$ => $$x=14-8.3 = 5.7$$ cm => Ans - (D)
