Let Exports in 2012 = Rs. $$x$$ crore and exports in 2013 = Rs. $$(6000 - x)$$ crore Ratio of imports to exports in 2012 = $$frac{1100}{x} = 0.7$$ => $$x = frac{1100}{0.7} = $$Rs. $$frac{11000}{7}$$ crore
=> Exports in 2013 = $$6000 - frac{11000}{7} = $$Rs. $$frac{31000}{7}$$ crore Let imports in 2013 = Rs. $$y$$ crore Ratio of imports and exports in 2013 = $$frac{y}{frac{31000}{7}} = 1.2$$ => $$y = frac{31000}{7} imes 1.2 approx$$ Rs. $$5314$$ crore
