Let the side of square = $$s$$ cm and diagonal, $$d = 10$$ cm => $$(s)^2 + (s)^2 = (d)^2$$ => $$2s^2 = (10)^2 = 100$$ => $$s^2 = frac{100}{2} = 50$$ $$ herefore$$ Area of square = $$s^2 = 50 cm^2$$ => Ans - (A)
