    Let maximum marks = $$100x$$ => Passing marks = $$frac{24}{100} imes 100x = 24x$$ According to ques,  => $$24x - 29 = 61$$ => $$24x = 61 + 29 = 90$$ => $$x = frac{90}{24} = frac{15}{4}$$ $$ herefore$$ Maximum marks = $$100 imes frac{15}{4} = 25 imes 15 = 375$$ => Ans - (A)
