Let the auto-rickshaw picks the passenger at point A and travels North 6.5 km to reach B, then it turns to its left and rides for another 1.5 km westwards, then it turns South and rides for 2.5 km to reach D, then again it turns to its left and rides 1.5 km to finally stop at point E.
=> AE = $$6.5-2.5=4$$ km $$ herefore$$ The auto is 4 km north with respect to its starting position. => Ans - (C)
