Given : AD is the angle bisector of $$angle$$ A. Also, BD = 7.5 cm and BC = 9 cm To find : AB : AC = ? Solution : CD = 9 - 7.5 = 1.5 cm According to angle bisector theorem, => $$frac{AB}{BD}=frac{AC}{DC}$$ => $$frac{AB}{AC}=frac{BD}{DC}$$ => $$frac{AB}{AC}=frac{7.5}{1.5}=frac{5}{1}$$ => Ans - (C)
