    Let length of train = $$l$$ m Length of bridge = 550 m Speed of train = 40 m/s and time taken = 25 seconds Using, speed = distance/time => $$40=frac{l+550}{25}$$ => $$l+550=40 imes25=1000$$ => $$l=1000-550=450$$ m => Ans - (B)
