The letters are numbered based on their position according to the English alphabetical order. A=1 , B=2 , C=3 , D=4 and so on. The numbers are then added to get the final output. Eg :- CAB = $$3+1+2=6$$ LAN = $$12+1+14=27$$ Similarly, FAN = $$6+1+14=21$$ => Ans - (B)
