equation of x axis is y = 0 -------(1) 2x+y-4 = 0 -------(2) x-y+1 = 0 -------(3) on solving (1) (2) & (3) we will get 3 points, let those be A, B, C. A(3, 2), B(-1, 0), C(2, 0) since, B & C lies on X axis, altitude = height of point A from x axis = ordinate = y value of point A = 2 so the answer is option A.
