Given , Cord BC = 24 , radius OB = 13 . D be the mid point of BC , then OD will be perpendicular to BC.
So, BOD forms a right triangle.
so, OD = $$sqrt{OB^2-BM^2}$$
= $$sqrt{13^2-12^2}$$
= 5
