Given that , A discount of 30% on the marked price(MP) of a toy reduces its selling price(SP) by Rs. 30.
We know that, selling price = Marked price - Discount
Discount = {30÷100}x MP
Discount = 0.3MP
0.3MP = 30
MP = 100
∴ The selling price = MP - 0.3MP = 0.7MP
= 0.7 × 100 = 70.[s][/s]
