Let height of pole = AB = $$h$$ Length of shadow = BC = $$x$$ Angle of elevation of sun = $$angle$$ACB = $$ heta$$ = ? Acc to ques : $$x = sqrt{3} h$$ In $$ riangle$$ABC => $$tan heta = frac{AB}{BC}$$ => $$tan heta = frac{h}{x}$$ => $$tan heta = frac{h}{sqrt{3} h} = frac{1}{sqrt{3}}$$ => $$ heta$$ = 30°
