Let the initial position of the truck be at point S. It travels 36 km towards north and reaches T, and then 9 km to the west and reaches point U, Then, It travels south for 50 km and finally stops at point W after travelling 9 km. Thus, SW = 50 - 36 = 14 km $$ herefore$$ The truck is 14 km to the south with reference to its starting position. => Ans - (D)
