Let length of each train = $$x$$ m Speed of the trains = 46 km/hr and 36 km/hr Since, the trains are moving in same direction, => Relative speed = 46 - 36 = 10 km/hr = $$10 imes frac{5}{18} = frac{25}{9}$$ m/s Time taken = 36 sec $$ herefore frac{x + x}{frac{25}{9}} = 36$$ => $$2x = 36 imes frac{25}{9}$$ => $$2x = 4 imes 25 = 100$$ => $$x = frac{100}{2} = 50$$ m
