I : 4$$x^{2}$$ + 15x + 14 = 0 => 4$$x^{2}$$ + 8x + 7x + 14 = 0 => 4x ( x + 2) + 7 ( x + 2) = 0 => (4x + 7) (x + 2) = 0 => x = -7/4 , -2 II : 6$$y^{2}$$ + 10y = 0 => y (6y + 10) = 0 => y = 0 , -5/3 Since, 0 > -7/4 , -2 & -5/3 > -7/4 , -2 => y > x
