    Let the length and breadth of the field resp = $$7x , 2x$$ => Area of field = $$7x imes 2x = 3584$$ => $$x^2 = frac{3584}{14} = 256$$ => $$x = sqrt{256} = 16$$ $$ herefore$$ Perimeter of rectangular field = $$2 (7x + 2x) = 18x$$ = $$18 imes 16 = 288$$ metre
